This page provides the latest documents and information about the wire-less lawn mower „Alfred“.

Why did „Alfred“ become „Alfred DIY“?

With Alfred we started the attempt to offer a kit with minimal assembly effort. The balance after one season has taught us that this is no longer cost-covering at the sales price we are aiming for and the number of pieces we can produce. Since we are still convinced of Alfred, we do not want to give up the product and offer with Alfred DIY a cost-covering kit.

An Alfred DIY always consists of two components: The loop-based lawn robot (e.g. the FX-RB224 from Fuxtec) and our „Alfred DIY“ conversion kit.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ)

  • How will I get the sunray licence?
    • We send you the licence automatically to your e-mailaddress you used at the Marotronics Shop.
  • What firmware version is installed on your robot?
    • You can find the version number via the firmware menu in the app, example: ‚Sunray 1.0.283‘
  • Where can I find the latest error-state?
    • The app will show ‚error‘ instead of ‚mow‘, ‚charge‘ or ‚dock‘. If it enters error state, which sensor does it show in brackets after the error? (example: ‚error (undervoltage)‘)
  • Why does the robot stop sporadically and restart the mowing motor?
    • This can happen for various reasons, e.g. if the mowing height is adjusted too low, if the driving speed is set too high (0.2m/s should be fine) or if the gras is very dense – the robot stop behaviour ensures that the mowing motor continues to run and the gras is mowed.
